System description

Extraction of dust from woodworking machines

Task

High operating and maintenance costs of the dust extraction system. Several decentralised and central installations for dust extraction, several of which did not use a return air system.

Solution

Extraction from various machining processes via a vacuum filter, where low operating and maintenance costs were paramount. A container stores wood chips, which are transported via a ring line from the filter using air. An automatic valve, combined with frequency-controlled exhaust fan, ensures energy-efficient operation. Return air passes to the production buildings directly from the filter.


Result:

The solution resulted in significant savings in operating costs, as well as a significant reduction in maintenance costs.
