Task

High operation and maintenance costs of the existing chip extraction system, which consisted of several decentralised and centralised chip extraction systems.

Solution

The installation of a single new energy efficient chip extraction system. The system is demand-controlled so that only the absolutely necessary amount of air is extracted. Waste management is done by discharging the material into a ring line that blows the chips into a 34 m3 ATEX approved container. The discharge is controlled so that the transport fan, sluice and bottom scraper in the filter are only in operation for the time necessary for the amount of waste.
