System description

High-vacuum system for vacuuming in the filler room of the paint booth

Task

When sanding filled items, the dust from the sanding machines must be removed directly from the source. The presence of dust can cause both reduced quality and adverse health effects if not effectively removed.

Solution

The high-vacuum system ensures that dust is effectively removed through eight metres of hoses connected to the grinding machines. The system can also be used for general cleaning of the room. The system is built with flap valves with a microswitch, so the start/stop of the system is automatic when connecting the grinding machine.

The system is supplied in accordance with ATEX to protect personnel and the system against a possible explosion. This includes explosion panels in the filter and blow-back flap, etc.
